My name is Nicole Seevers, and I'm here to help you reclaim your health and your joy.
I practiced corporate law for nearly ten years in New York before stepping out of the rat race to focus on raising my three children down here in the gorgeous Commonwealth of Virginia. After one of my children was born with asthma and severe food allergies, I learned everything I could about keeping him healthy. When I realized how many parents were dealing with similar issues, I started a custom home baking business for people with dietary restrictions and food allergies. You can read more about Cole's Moveable Feasthere.
Over the last decade I've read everything I could get my hands on about nutrition, the immune system, the mind body connection, the effects of stress on our health, the "four As" (asthma, allergies, autism and ADHD), disease treatment and prevention, the environment, the link between nutrition and health, and the economics and politics behind our nation's approach to food, medical treatment and healthcare. Even though I've always been a bit of a wellness junkie (and thought I knew everything about "healthy living"), several experiences in my own life taught me invaluable lessons about nourishment, connection, disease, balance, mindfulness and compassion. It has been a humbling journey, and I felt called to share what I've learned with others who were pursuing their own wellness goals, whatever they may be. That's what led me to educate myself further and seek certification as a health coach and life coach. I believe:
~ You already know how to live your best, healthiest life.
~ Nourishment isn't just about food, and it's not just about your body either.
~ Small changes lead to big results.
~ One size doesn't fit all.
~ There's always more to learn. ~ Gratitude and grace are the building blocks of a joyful life.
~ We must help the undernourished.
~ We are stewards of this earth and can contribute to a healthier, happier planet.
