Ideas & Insights to Inspire YOUR Beautiful, Messy, Meaningful Life
Good morning, my loves! Do that thing you've always wanted to try, before you overthink it.
Flowers are not frivolous. They are a wonderful reminder of change, presence, beauty and the importance of seasons in our lives. Consider not just cut flowers, but also blooms, herbs or branches snipped from outside.
If CANCER is in your life ...
This is your space. Since my own breast cancer diagnosis in 2017, I've learned of nearly a dozen friends who have some form of cancer. And this month alone, I've learned of two more friends with breast cancer and a third with another type. I'm sad and confused and angry.
BUT I'm also hopeful. I can't heal your cancer, or even keep you from getting it (by all accounts, I "shouldn't" have gotten either, but that's a story for another day). But YOU can treat your cancer and support your body while it heals. And I'm here to support you and share what I've learned about how caring for our bodies, minds and spirits can help us not just survive cancer, but also thrive.
So I've created this space, and I will be expanding it with information, resources, thoughts, advocacy and more. You've got this. And I'm right there with you.
When I found out I had cancer and was high risk for several others, I turned to my drug of choice: RESEARCH (I am a recoverying lawyer, after all). Through that work, I created this list of anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer foods. I keep it on my fridge and try to add as many as possible throughout the day. It has now become second nature.

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking professional advice because of information you have read on the Wellness Feast website or received from me. Do not stop taking any medications without speaking to your physician or healthcare professional. If you have or suspect that you have a medical problem, contact your healthcare provider promptly.
