Your Beautiful Life

Ideas & Insights to Inspire YOUR Beautiful, Messy, Meaningful Life

Bring BEAUTY into your home and daily life every chance you get.  Go shopping . . . in your own home and out in nature.  That pitcher you forgot about?  Fill it with flowers.  Snip some blooms or branches from the bush outside your house and drop them into a vase or mint julep cup.  Make a beautiful meal.  Decorate your home for the season, even if you're the only one who's going to see it. A beautiful life is your birthright.

If CANCER is in your life ...

Picture
This is your space. Since my own breast cancer diagnosis in 2017, I've learned of dozens of friends and family members who have some form of cancer.  I'm sad and confused and angry.

BUT I'm also hopeful.
I can't heal your cancer, or even keep you from getting it (by all accounts, I "shouldn't" have gotten it either, but that's a story for another day).  But YOU can treat your cancer and support your body while it heals.  And I'm here to support you and share what I've learned about how caring for our bodies, minds and spirits can help us not just survive cancer, but also thrive.

So I've created this space, and COMING SOON: a private page and forum for anyone dealing with cancer.  It will include a community forum, coaching support, special private events, resources, advocacy,
access to accountability partners and more.  In the meantime, I've listed a few resources below to get you started. You've got this.  And I'm right there with you.

My Personal Superfoods List

When I found out I had cancer and was high risk for several others, I turned to my drug of choice: RESEARCH (I am a recoverying lawyer, after all).  Through that work, I created this list of anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer foods.  I keep it on my fridge and try to add as many as possible throughout the day.  It has now become second nature.
